Back To School
Welcome Back!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready for school to begin. This first week back will be new not just for the students but for the staff as well. We will be on assembly B schedule everyday the first week so that mini lessons about the school can be conducted at the end of each day. That's right, sorry, no assembly until Friday.
About this blog sight: I use this blog to post links to assignments, pictures, videos, and explainations of assignments. If you lost or are missing an assignment you can download it from this sight and print it off at home or wherever. There is no excuse for not getting your assignments done, even if your dog ate it.

Foil Boat Lab
How big of a boat can you make with a 15cm X 15cm piece of aluminum foil? Some students made a boat that had a volume of 250 cubic cm. Not only that, how much water would your boat be able to carry before it sank. The top boat was able to carry 260 grams. The unique thing about water is that it has a 1 to 1 ration in terms of volume to mass. So if the boat was able to hold 260 grams, that is 260 ml, is that possible when the boat has only a volume of 250? Maybe, you be the scientist, try it and find out.

Hectic Week
What a Short Week!!!!!!!!!!! TESA Science exams being done this week with only half a classroom set of computers. That's OK. There are only 40 questions on the test and most students are finishing in less than a period. We have 4 days for all students to get finished with the test and all the notes and reading for CH 8.
